After graduating with honors in 1991 from Virginia Commonwealth University’s School of Business MBA program, Auto Insurers of Virginia was founded by current owner and President, David P. Archibald. Having gotten his start in the business working with his father, Paul D. Archibald, in a small Nationwide agency in the 1980’s; Auto Insurers of Virginia has quickly grown into one of the largest independent insurance agencies in the Richmond metropolitan area.
Although over half of our clients are preferred drivers, we offer coverage for ALL drivers, and specialize in hard to place risks including: SR22's, DUI's, tickets, accidents, sports cars, lapses in prior coverage and credit problems. We also provide both preferred AND hard to place coverage for MOTORCYCLES, BOATS, JET SKIS, RV's, COMMERCIAL VEHICLES, HOMEOWNERS, RENTER's, LIFE, HEALTH, DENTAL AND DISABILITY insurance.
