February is National Children's Dental Health Month sponsored by the American Dental Association.  Each February, the ADA tries to raise awareness about the importance of oral health in order to develop good dental habits at an early age. 

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, at last check, 22% of children aged 2-17 years old had not visited the dentist in over a year.  Even worse, 16% of children aged 6-19 years old had untreated dental decay.
